Peter Wheeler

With more than 40 years’ experience in executive, sponsorship, fundraising and event management for major international sports and entertainment events on four different continents Peter brings an invaluable wealth of knowledge, leadership, and experience to JLC. He has previously led the Special Olympics World Games Abu Dhabi 2019 as CEO. In addition to the 2019 World Games, Peter oversaw 5 World Games, co-produced three White House Dinners, high profile events with President Mandela including his 84th Birthday celebration, China Millennium March with Arnold Schwarzenegger and President Zhang Zemin, and numerous other inaugural sports, entertainment, and broadcast events for Special Olympics around the world.
