The Oscars® pre-show and red carpet set the global stage for Hollywood’s biggest night, welcoming the world’s most influential talent, media, and creatives. Under the design direction of Jay Heiserman, JLC provided end-to-end fabrication services for the arrivals and pre-show environment—rolling out its fabrication shop to the world on one of the most visible stages in live entertainment.
Led by newly joined fabrication leaders Meredyth Mindte and Nick Carmichael, the build reflected deep roots in the Los Angeles scenic community and a proven ability to execute complex, high-profile environments across broadcast, sports, and experiential. Together, they brought leadership, precision, and real-world execution to the shop floor—strengthening systems, workflows, and delivery at scale.
Backed by JLC’s integrated capabilities—including large-format print and 3D fabrication—the environment was realized with technical rigor and craftsmanship, meeting the demands of live broadcast while elevating one of the most iconic arrival experiences in the world.
